Cape Coral Ranks High Again as Top Safe City

Cape Coral Florida, on the Southwestern Coast of the state in Lee County Florida, ranked as the 22nd safest city in the nation. The study looked in many metrics of 182 cities, with Cape Coral staying near the top at 22.

In order to determine the safest cities in which to live, WalletHub’s analysts compared 182 cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, across three key dimensions: 1) Home & Community Safety, 2) Financial Safety, and 3) Natural-Disaster Risk. They evaluated those dimensions using 35 relevant metrics. Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the highest level of safety.
